Group exhibition hosted within the halls and rooms of the iconic Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, CA, seeking to cultivate a collective exploration between personal and shared notions of paradise by offering artists an opportunity to infuse their unique narratives into the hotel. Showcased an updated and ephemeral version of “it’s in the head”.

“Plastic Bin on Plastic Beach”, a fully painted recycling bin featuring Chloe Hiu See Tsang’s original artwork of the animated band Gorillaz, is featured among other redesigned bins decorating the Coachella 2023 festival. The one-of-a-kind bin serves as a way to bring art & sustainability out to the fields—to ultimately put “ART” on “eARTh”. Rest as a Form of Protest - QTPOC Group Show

QTPOC-only group art show at Art Center’s Spotlight Gallery, brought together by Raven Lu (@hotbirdbath). Featured “Yee-HAR’s Official Tiger Rug”, “Obviously Elite” and “Bird & Bionic B*tches”. Other QTPOC artists presented works close to identity or signifying home, including 3-D, film and performance works. Opening night food and drink was shared, flash tattoos were available and bedding + floor cushions were provided for seating as the gallery space served as a place of rest and vulnerability.
